A city in transformation
Tilburg, in the middle of North Brabant region, is more alive now than ever before. The city is going through a complete transformation. Once a textile town, it is now a city full of surprising districts such as the Spoorzone (Railway Zone) and the Piushaven (Pius Harbour). It has leading museums and is ideally located between Efteling and Beekse Bergen. There is plenty of greenery in and around the city and it is a short drive to the Loon and Drunen Dunes National Park.

It was in Tilburg that the young Vincent van Gogh had his first drawing lessons. Using the Van Gogh NP walking route Tilburg you can walk with Vincent as your guide through the Brabant countryside full of meandering streams, extensive nature reserves, farmland and country estates. This will take you past the Piushaven, the Koningshoeven Abbey and the Moerenburg nature reserve.
