Water adventures inside and outside
Calling all water babies, sailors and captains! We're going on a water adventure. In Brabant? Absolutely! Brabant has many excellent locations for enjoying the water. Places to have a nice swim or to relax on the sand or grass. When temperatures start going up, a watery adventure is just the thing for fun-loving children.

Nowhere in the Netherlands will you find as many outdoor slides as in spray park Splesj, part of Molecaten Park Bosbad Hoeven. The 900 m2 water park is the largest in Europe. See who is the fastest on Fast4Fun, or zip through the Super Crater in a two-person tyre. In the spray park you'll fi
BillyBird Park Hemelrijk
A large and clean beach with crystal clear bathing water, where children and parents can swim, relax and play. And there is also an AquaFunPark in the water, the largest in the Netherlands! Children can enjoy themselves all year round at Billybird Park Hemelrijk; in the themed areas Ruig (rugged) and Oervallei (prehistoric valley), in the roller coaster, on climbing mountain 'Hemelaya' or in outdoor playground Kinderland.
Day at TerSpegelt in Eersel
Fancy a nice day of swimming, playing and splashing around? Recreation park TerSpegelt is also open for day visits. In the covered pool and playground Sterrenstrand you can mess around with water and sand, and outside you can have a lovely swim in the swimming lake. And if you've had enough of the water, show off your best tricks on the PumpTrack.
Being in the water is wonderful of course, but being on the water is fantastic too. Sail to places that are otherwise inaccessible and view your surroundings from another perspective - literally!
National Park De Biesbosch
A visit to National Park De Biesbosch is not complete without a boat trip. Several round trips start from the Biesbosch Museum Island. A special quiet boat will take you through the narrow streams and ponds. You might even spot a beaver or a white-tailed eagle! Of course you can also take a canoe into the nature reserve or you can rent a stand-up paddleboard.
Breda Canals
Breda has a lot of greenery and this is perhaps best experienced from the water. Take a boat trip over the Breda Canals and see the interesting sights on route, such as the Spanjaardsgat, Breda Castle, former prison De Koepel, and the Chassé Park. Or if you fancy working up a bit of a sweat you can also explore the canals and the Mark valley on a rented stand-up paddleboard. BAAI is a lovely place on the water where you can enjoy a nice drink before or after your boat trip.
Fortified town of Heusden
With its picturesque streets, centuries-old buildings, unique shops and top restaurants, the atmospheric fortified town of Heusden is a great destination for lovers of culture, history and good food and drink and water sports. Imagine yourself four centuries back in time during a boat trip with Rondvaart Wiljo and experience the fortified town of Heusden from the water, from where you can enjoy the beautifully restored houses, mills and cannons in an unforgettable way.
Binnendieze ’s-Hertogenbosch
Charming streets, a historic centre and the mighty St. John's Cathedral. The Museum Quarter, the Binnendieze canal and of course the local treat 'Bossche Bollen’. That’s ’s-Hertogenbosch! The Binnendieze is a centuries-old system of watercourses within the city walls. Part of it runs under the city houses! You can also take other boating trips from ’s-Hertogenbosch.
