"The most beautiful lake in Brabant"

“The most beautiful lake in North Brabant: lake Voorste Goorven in Oisterwijk. In the morning the sun rises beautifully over the trees. There are several walking trails and ambling around this lake takes about half an hour. There is also a restaurant nearby and it’s easy to find a parking spot.”

"A royal walk"

“If you are looking for a nice place to walk then I can really recommend the castle grounds in Heeswijk. A lovely piece of countryside with a beautiful castle at the centre. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays you can also take a look inside. Great for the whole family!”

"Spotting Highland cattle"

“National Park de Biesbosch is a beautiful area to spot Highland cows. One of my favourite places, where you can (almost) always see them, is at the Amalia Hoeve, a monumental Biesbosch farm from 1938. Sometimes they are even standing in the water and you almost bump into them with your boat! The farm’s grounds are free to visit, and offer a beautiful view of the Kwestieus polder landscape.”
